When I was here on Coco Beach Florida at this cute restaurant, Jack was 3000 miles away in San Fransisco California. It's the farthest we have been apart. I was enjoying a crab cake sandwich, and the beach and ocean. Jack encountered GAY Rights in San Fransisco while there on a business trip for Sun Guard.
The Cruise ship that was siting in the harbor when we came was gone when we left.
Did some shopping in Florida, did some diving for pearls(i didn't actually dive) did find some nice pearls. Made matching necklaces for Ann and I for Christmas. Set the pearl in a pink flower. The other setting was a Shell. They all turned out very nicely.
Bought a few gifts, shoes, jewelry boxes, mugs and shirts. Did the Wine and Cheese festival at Epcot. Ann at the desserts and I drank the wine.
Walked about ten miles that week. I would have gone further in a day if not for all the tourists.

I will be returning in July for the Courage Classic 2009. Spending the weekend volunteering to help the riders finish their 300 miles.

To see a Columbine you can recognize it by the two tone color and the unusual shape. The original bluish purple here.
Recently I was staying in Copper Mountain for the Courage Classic a weekend bike ride to benefit the Children's Hospital. I found quite a few different colors, unlike the original color from my childhood shown here.

The first days of Spring, with a snow fallen snow the warm sun shining has brought me back to my camera. I wanted to blog today, and this small creature was up for it. I can only do this to relieve the frustrations that my brother has brought on. He has refused to be in a family picture. I wanted the four kids to a portrait to celebrate mid life of all of us. He has found a way to ruin it. Well I thought about hiring someone to stand in for him. Now I just have to put it off.
Well this little fellow probably has better things to do, but he volunteer a short amount of his time out of his busy day to pose for a photograph.
This picture is called Fall. October 16, 2008 my disabled sister and I spent a week in Florida. We visited the Botanical Gardens, where beautiful flowers and trees are. This especially caught my I due to the size and shape.
We took this trip because it was a dream of Ann's, she has collected Disney for years and she has always wanted to go to Disney World. I spent about three months planning, making trips to the Airport and asking questions regarding boarding with a wheelchair and to my surprise they weren't much help. I had my route planned, and when we did arrive early that morning, every step was contradicted by another airport employee, when I wanted to go North, I was directed South. The customer service phone person did not know anything about boarding with a disabled member and when I found out about isle chairs and the width of the isles, express check in and carry on I wrote and asked for the return of my $25 fee charged to speak to a live person. I haven't heard from them.
The trip went well, I had enough skills to take care of Ann all week. We took lots of photos and had a great time. She liked Sea World as well as Disney World.
